Cookie Policy
Last updated June 2026
We keep cookies to a minimum. The ones we use are mostly essential — keeping you signed in and processing payments — plus a little privacy-respecting analytics so we can improve the product. We don’t run advertising trackers.
What we use, and why
- Essential — staying signed in. Our authentication provider (Clerk) sets a session cookie so you don’t have to log in on every page. Without it, accounts can’t work.
- Essential — payments. When you check out, Stripe sets cookies to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud.
- Analytics — improving the product. We use product analytics (PostHog) to understand which features get used and where things break. This is aggregate and privacy-respecting — no advertising, no selling data, no cross-site tracking.
- Hosting. Our host (Vercel) may set basic operational cookies needed to serve the site reliably.
What we don’t do
No advertising cookies. No third-party ad networks. No selling your browsing data. The desktop app itself is local-first — this policy is about the website.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may break sign-in or checkout. For the analytics cookies, you can opt out via your browser’s controls, and we honor “Do Not Track” signals where supported.
